Dr. Gary Schoutsen grew up in the Hamilton area. He attended Saltfleet Secondary High School in Stoney Creek where he graduated in the mid 80's.

After working in construction for two years as a carpenter, he decided to return to school and become a Chiropractor.

Dr. Schoutsen then attended Brock University in St. Catherines Ont. and went on to attend the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. He graduated in January 1995.

After graduation, Dr. Schoutsen started his Chiropractic practice working with Dr. O.J. Ressel in Burlington, Ontario. Dr. O.J. Ressel owned and operated one of the busiest and successful Chiropractic clinics in Ontario.

Working with Dr. Ressel was a very educational and rewarding experience, but after about a year and a half, Dr. Schoutsen decided to open his own practice. He opened his practice in the fall of 1996 at 1521 Upper Ottawa St., Unit 8 in Hamilton Ont. Currently, the practice is located at 1112 Rymal Road East.

Dr. Gary Schoutsen is married to Sheri (nee Carless). Sheri graduated from Guelph University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Sheri works with Dr. Gary in his clinic as the office manager. She is the friendly voice you hear when you call the clinic.
